RARE BYZANTINE GOLD MARRIAGE RING.
Ca. AD 600.
A gold ring with a slender, round-section hoop and a circular bezel engraved with the frontal busts of a bride and groom beneath a tall cross, flanked by smaller crosses, with the inscription 'OMONOIA' (harmony) below.
