BYZANTINE GOLD RING WITH CHRIST. Ca. AD 400 - 600. A gold ring with a slender hoop, angular shoulders cut with three flutes, and a flat circular bezel decorated in relief with the frontal bust of Christ, with a halo behind the head and one hand raised before the chest.
