An amethyst cylinder seal, drilled longitudinally and engraved with a large ibex beneath a two-winged sun.

Provenance: Private London collection of an Ancient Art dealer; formerly in a central London family collection, 1990s; reportedly examined by Wilfrid George Lambert in the late 1980s–early 1990s; ex UK art market, 1970s–early 1980s.
