EGYPTIAN-PHOENICIAN GOLD AMULET OF RE-HORAKHTY. Late Period–Ptolemaic Period (ca. 664–30 B.C.). A gold pendant of Horus standing on an integral flat base, with a falcon head and a striated tripartite wig surmounted by a sun disc with uraei. The figure has a nude torso and wears a pleated kilt. A suspension loop is attached at the back. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA23426, EA59872. Size: 27mm x 9mm; Weight: 3.5g Provenance: Private London collection; ex private family collection, established mid-20th century and continued until 2000. This item has been checked against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
