EGYPTIAN-PHOENICIAN GOLD AMULET OF A WOMAN, POSSIBLY A GODDESS.
Late Period–Ptolemaic Period (ca. 664–30 B.C.) A gold pendant of Isis standing on an integral flat base, wearing a tripartite wig and a long close-fitting sheath dress revealing the navel, with her arms held close to her sides and a suspension loop at the back. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA23426, EA59872. Size: 23mm x 6mm; Weight: 3g Provenance: Private London collection; ex private family collection, established mid-20th century and continued until 2000. This item has been checked against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
