COLLECTION OF GREEK GOLD AND GLASS PENDANTS. Ca. 800 - 600 BC. A collection of three pendants, including, from left to right: a long pendant with tapering conical terminals and side panels framed by beaded borders, each decorated with a sinuous filigree motif; a spherical gold pendant ornamented with applied granules and filigree bands; and a circular white and red glass pendant with a radiating star motif, enclosed by a broad gold band forming a suspension loop above. Size: 14-30mm x 8-9mm; Weight: 6.8g Provenance: Private London collection; previously part of a distinguished New York private collection, assembled between 1975 and 1995. The collection was authenticated in the early 1990s by Dr. Jack Ogden and Barbara Deppert Lippitz, leading specialists in ancient jewellery. A significant number of objects from this collection were also published in a professional catalogue. This item has been checked against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
