LATE ROMAN GOLD RING WITH STONE CAMEO OF A GORGON.
Ca. AD 200 - 400. A gold ring with a rounded hoop expanding to an oval bezel with a plain collet set with an orange stone cameo carved with the head of a Gorgon, her gaze lowered, with snakes radiating through the hair.
