LARGE ROMAN GOLD RING WITH AGATE INTAGLIO OF CERES.

A gold ring with a broad, rounded hoop and angular shoulders leading to an oval bezel set with a layered agate intaglio engraved with the right-facing bust of Ceres, her hair bound with a fillet, with wheat stalks before and behind.
