ROMAN CARNELIAN INTAGLIO OF A GRYLLOS IN GOLD RING.

A carnelian intaglio engraved with a gryllos composed of a bearded male head in left profile conjoined at a right angle with a second bearded head turned downward. It is set in a possibly later gold ring with a broad tapering hoop and an oval bezel.
