ROMAN GARNET INTAGLIO OF A GRYLLOS IN GOLD RING.

A garnet intaglio engraved with a janiform gryllos composed of two conjoined faces, a youth looking to the left and a bearded bald Silenus to the right. It is set in the oval bezel of a possibly later gold ring with a rounded hoop and faceted shoulders.
