LATE ROMAN GOLD PENDANT WITH LARGE EMERALD CABOCHON ENGRAVED ON THE UNDERSIDE WITH A PROFILE PORTRAI.
Ca. AD 300 - 600.
A gold pendant with a star-shaped frame centred by an oval emerald. The reverse is engraved with the head of Hercules in profile, bearded and with curling hair. A ribbed suspension loop projects above.
