A gold hollow ring with a tapering hoop and an oval bezel set with a convex red garnet intaglio engraved with Fortuna standing in three-quarter view, holding a cornucopia in her right hand and a rudder in her left hand, on a groundline. The collection was authenticated in the early 1990s by Dr. Jack Ogden and Barbara Deppert Lippitz, leading specialists in ancient jewellery.
