ROMAN GOLD RING WITH GARNET INTAGLIO OF MINERVA.
Ca. AD 50 - 200.
A gold hollow ring with a tapering hoop and an oval bezel set with a garnet intaglio engraved with Minerva standing in profile, helmeted, holding a shield and spear. A small applied boss decorates one shoulder.
