A collection of four gold earrings, including, from left to right: a matched pair of hoop earrings with twisted lower sections and plain upper arcs, each centred on a circular boss in a raised frame; and a matched pair of carinated hoop earrings with a tapering body and a ribbed collar at the thicker end. Size: 16-18mm x 12-17mm; Weight: 5.7g Provenance: Private London collection; previously part of a distinguished New York private collection, assembled between 1975 and 1995. The collection was authenticated in the early 1990s by Dr. Jack Ogden and Barbara Deppert Lippitz, leading specialists in ancient jewellery. A significant number of objects from this collection were also published in a professional catalogue. This item has been checked against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
