PAIR OF PHOENICIAN POLYCHROME LARGE BEADS. Ca. 400 - 200 BC. A pair of glass beads, each of compressed globular form with a central perforation and a dark blue ground. The bead on the left is decorated with a yellow collar, a central white zigzag trail and yellow and green bosses. The bead on the right has white collars, a white zigzag trail around the middle and rows of applied white and red bosses. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Object Number: 17.194.717.
