ROMAN CARNELIAN INTAGLIO OF A GRYLLOS IN GOLD RING.
Ca. AD 300.
A carnelian intaglio engraved with a gryllos composed of the conjoined heads of a Silenus, ram, and horse, on rooster legs, mounted in a possibly later gold ring with a ribbed hoop and an oval bezel framed by a beaded border.
