A gold ring with a flat-section hoop, flaring shoulders, and an oval bezel set with a carnelian intaglio engraved with Minerva standing beside an altar, wearing a crested helmet and a long chiton, with a spear and shield at her left side, all on a groundline. Size: D:17.53mm / US: 7 1/4 / UK: O; Weight: 4g Provenance: Private London collection; formerly with F.A., Brussels; from a Belgian collection assembled between the early 1970s and early 1990s.
