ROMAN RED GARNET INTAGLIO WITH SEATED FIGURE IN GOLD RING.

A red garnet intaglio engraved with a figure seated on a low stool on a groundline, turned to the right with the right arm raised, set in a possibly later gold ring. The hoop has a braided panel between raised edges and a high conical bezel.
