LARGE COLLECTION COMPRISING ANCIENT JEWELLERY AND OBJECTS; FINNO-UGRIC BRONZE PENDANT WITH ADDORSED. Ca. AD 500 - 800. A large collection comprising; A bronze pendant with addorsed horse heads on arched ribbed necks flanking a central suspension loop. Six chains of interlocking links are suspended from the lower edge, each ending in a lozenge-shaped pendant; A large collection of glass beads strung as a single strand, including mainly pale green spherical and barrel-shaped beads with applied eye motifs in yellow, red, white, and blue glass, interspersed with carnelian beads; A collection of 6 large silver torques with a round-section shank, the central section twisted, with plain tapering terminals, ending in a loop.; A solid silver penannular bracelet formed from a thick twisted shank, with fine twisted wire set in the grooves, tapering to plain flattened terminals.; A collection of bronze objects, including, from left to right: a penannular brooch with a pin and polyhedral terminals; a lion applique with attachment hooks at the back; an openwork fire steel; and a pendant with an animal finial above suspension chains ending in lozenge-shaped pendants. A collection of bronze and silver pendants, including, from left to right: an openwork ploughed field amulet with a circular frame and a ribbed suspension loop; an openwork pendant with a sinuous-bodied beast within a beaded border; and a pendant with a slightly domed surface decorated with granulation and applied bosses.
