COLLECTION OF VIKING PERIOD SILVER BRACELETS AND EARRINGS. Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A collection of six silver bracelets and a pair of earrings, including: two penannular bracelets, each formed from a flat-section sheet with two horizontal grooves, a central floral motif, punched dot ornament, and flaring terminals with clusters of granules; two penannular bracelets, each with a twisted hoop and flat trapezoidal terminals with applied bosses; a slender penannular bracelet formed from twisted rods with looped terminals; a plaited bracelet with flaring terminals with large applied bosses connected by fine wire; and a matched pair of earrings, each formed as a twisted hoop with a suspended wire ornament.
