PAIR OF CHINESE WARRING STATES GLASS CYLINDRICAL BEADS. Ca. 475 - 221 BC. A pair of glass beads, each with a long cylindrical body with a central perforation, the surface divided into horizontal registers by applied white trails. Each register is decorated with concentric eyes and quatrefoils composed of reddish-brown teardrop elements. Provenance: Prince Collection, 1990s–2014; ex. private collection, 1970s–1990s. This item has been checked against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
