COLLECTION OF MESOPOTAMIAN STONE STAMP SEALS - ORIGINAL LAMBERT REPORT. Ca. 3500 - 3000 BC. A collection of seven stamp seals, including, from top left: a fawn stone stamp seal, a semi-ovoid pierced lengthways, with a central hole and around it a band of curving lines; a white stone stamp seal, a semi-ovoid pierced lengthways, with two matching drilled motifs; a translucent yellow stone stamp seal, a semi-ovoid pierced lengthways, with two drilled motifs; a dark stone stamp seal, a hemispheroid pierced vertically, with a linear horned animal; a translucent stone stamp seal, a hemispheroid pierced horizontally, with two small springing animals tete-beche; a black stone stamp seal, a hemispheroid pierced horizontally, with four groups of drill holes; and a grey stone stamp seal, a semi-ovoid pierced lengthways, with a pattern of drill holes.
