PAIR OF GRAECO-EGYPTIAN CORE-FORMED GLASS PAPYRUS FLOWER-SHAPED PENDANTS. Ca. 332 - 30 BC. A pair of core-formed glass papyrus flower-shaped pendants, each with a broad triangular body and a tapering neck, pierced lengthwise. The one on the left has a dark ground decorated with marvered yellow trails in wavy horizontal bands around the neck and across the spreading body. The one on the right has a green ground decorated with marvered pale trails in similar bands. Size: 53mm - 53mm x 40mm - 32mm Weight: 15g - 17g Provenance: Prince Collection, 1990s–2014; ex. private collection, 1970s–1990s.
