EGYPTIAN GOLD PLAQUE WITH KHNUM WEARING THE ATEF CROWN.
Late Period–Ptolemaic Period. Ca. 664–30 B.C. A rectangular gold plaque decorated in repousse with the god Khnum in standing position, wearing the atef crown and holding a long staff in his right hand. Pierced for attachment at the upper corners. For similar see: The MET Museum, Museum number: 24.2.19; The British Museum, Museum Number: EA65520 Size: 50mm x 25mm; Weight: 1.2g Provenance: Private London collection; ex private family collection, established mid-20th century and continued until 2000.
