EGYPTIAN STEATITE ROUNDED SCARABOID WITH NEFER SIGNS AND SCROLLS IN SILVER SWIVEL RING.
Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2030 - 1640 BC. A steatite rounded-shaped scaraboid (button seal?) preserving traces of blue glaze, with no detail, and set in a possibly later silver swivel ring with a plain hoop. The flat base is engraved with a motif consisting of two signs for good and beautiful (nfr) in the middle, surrounded by intertwined spirals, the whole enclosed by a single incised line.
