RARE ROMAN GOLD RING WITH JUPITER AND THE EAGLE.
Ca. AD 300 (or later).
A gold ring with a flat-section hoop and fluted shoulders with volutes, leading to a broad oval bezel engraved with Jupiter seated on a throne in profile, holding a long sceptre in his right hand, with his left arm outstretched, and an eagle at his feet.
