VIKING AGE SILVER AND NIELLO BRACELET WITH PSEUDO INSCRIPTION.
Ca. AD 700 - 900.
A silver bracelet with a broad open body, raised edges, and interlocking tabs at the terminals for closure. The exterior is decorated with panels of niello pseudo-inscriptions and interlace enclosed by linear and chequer borders.

Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired on the French art market during the 1990s.
