PAIR OF VIKING SILVER AXE-SHAPED PENDANTS.
Ca. AD 700 - 1100.
A pair of silver axe-shaped pendants, from left to right: a pendant with a flat circular blade and a tapering neck with pointed shoulders, suspended from a plain round-section ring with an overlapping closure; and an axe-shaped pendant with a trapezoidal blade, suspended from a twisted penannular hoop with rounded terminals.
