Description
SELJUK SILVER BRACELET.
Ca. AD 1000 - 1100.
A silver bracelet of broad open form with a pronounced central ridge and slightly flaring terminals, each engraved with a rosette enclosed by a border of stylised birds. Beside each rosette is a band of pseudo-inscription, with birds in the outer corners and clusters of punched dots along the edges.

Provenance: From a private UK collection; London art market purchase; earlier with the Parthenon Gallery in the 1990s.
