COLLECTION OF CHINESE POLYCHROME TURQUOISE AND GLASS EYE BEADS.
Ca. 770 - 256 BC.
A collection of stone and glass beads, including, from left to right: four turquoise beads, comprising a rectangular pale green example, a flattened rounded bead of spiderweb turquoise, a rectangular bead with rounded corners, and an angular oval example; a dragonfly glass eye bead with a globular body decorated with concentric trailed eyes linked by short dotted lines; and a glass eye bead of elongated biconical form, decorated with circular turquoise and white eyes separated by dotted lines.
