COLLECTION OF MESOPOTAMIAN AND ANATOLIAN STONE STAMP SEALS - ORIGINAL LAMBERT REPORT. Ca. 4000 - 3000 BC. A collection of five stone stamp seals, including, from left: a dark stone stamp seal, oblong with rounded corners, with a flat face and a back ridged over a hole, the design of linear devices; a brown stone stamp seal, a hemispheroid pierced horizontally, the design of two recumbent horned animals with head up, tete-beche, drilled; a black green stone stamp seal with an oblong convex face and a back with central pierced ridge, the design linear with two stars and other devices; a translucent, veined, fawn stone stamp seal, a hemispheroid pierced horizontally, the design of two copulating humans and fillers; and an off-white stone stamp seal, a hemispheroid pierced sideways, the design of two small springing animals one above the other, in drilled style.
