EGYPTIAN GOLD HORUS FALCON PENDANT Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A gold pendant shaped as the head of the falcon god Horus in right profile, with a large solar disc above. Incised details mark the eye, beak and facial plumage. Two suspension loops are attached to the reverse. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA16980. Size: 46mm x 52mm; Weight: 9g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier held in an old family collection formed over the period 1960sÐ2000. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
