ROMAN AGATE CAMEO OF A NOBLEWOMAN IN GOLD PENDANT Ca. AD 1 - 200. An agate cameo carved with the profile bust of a noblewoman facing right, her hair bound at the nape and her drapery arranged in diagonal folds. It is set in a possibly later oval gold pendant with a raised collet and a border of applied granules. A broad triple-ribbed suspension loop is attached above.
