RARE OPENWORK GOLD RING WITH AGATE INTAGLIO OF EROS Ca. AD 1 - 300. A gold ring with a broad hoop expanding into openwork shoulders decorated with scrolling motifs. The raised oval bezel is set with a banded agate intaglio engraved with the winged Eros standing in a three-quarter view. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1917,0501.573.
