A gold earring formed as a tapering hoop with granulation along the centre, ending at the thicker end in a ram's head modelled with a long muzzle, recessed eyes, and curled horns with ribbed detailing. The thinner end terminates in a knop. Size: 29mm x 26mm; Weight: 14.3g Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in a UK ancient art collection (early 2000s); previously in the G.M. collection before 1996.
