HELLENISTIC GOLD LUNULA PENDANT WITH RED GARNET CABOCHON Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A gold lunula pendant with a crescentic plate and a central garnet cabochon set in a plain circular mount. The surrounding field is decorated with applied filigree scrolls. A ribbed suspension loop is attached above. Size: 28mm x 27mm; Weight: 3.6g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier present on the German art market in the 1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
