PAIR OF GREEK AND ROMAN GOLD PENDANTS Ca. 200 BC - AD 100. A pair of gold pendants, including, from left to right: a pendant with a large circular suspension ring above a date-shaped body decorated with applied granulation and leaf-shaped panels; and a pendant with a central shaft threaded with three beads, flanked by stylised dolphin handles at the looped top, with a spherical pearl bead below. Size: 20-42mm x 12-20mm; Weight: 6.8g Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in a UK ancient art collection (early 2000s); previously in the G.M. collection before 1996. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
