PHOENICIAN GLASS SCARAB WITH UREAUS AND PSEUDO CARTOUCHE IN GOLD SWIVEL RING Ca. 800 - 700 BC. A dark blue glass scarab with a smooth convex back. The underside is engraved with a cobra around pseudo cartouche. The scarab is mounted in a possibly later gold swivel ring with a twisted hoop and coiled terminals. Size: D:18.54mm / US: 8 1/2 / UK: Q 1/2; Weight: 6g Provenance: From a London private collection; purchased in Germany before 2000.
