PHOENICIAN POLYCHROME GLASS FACE BEAD Ca. 600 - 300 BC. A white and blue glass face bead with large applied eyes, a projecting nose and yellow lips. Blue hair frames the forehead and sides of the face, with a striped blue beard below, yellow bosses at the forehead and temples, and yellow earrings. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA59218. Size: 29mm x 20mm; Weight: 10g Provenance: Prince Collection, 1990sÐ2014; ex. private collection, 1970sÐ1990s.
