PHOENICIAN POLYCHROME GLASS FACE PENDANT Ca. 600 - 300 BC. A glass face pendant with a deep red face, black ringed eyes, an elongated nose and a small mouth. Turquoise ears are set with yellow earrings, and a broad blue headdress is edged below by a twisted polychrome band and surmounted by a projecting loop. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA59218. Size: 35mm x 21mm; Weight: 9g Provenance: Prince Collection, 1990sÐ2014; ex. private collection, 1970sÐ1990s.
