EGYPTIAN FAIENCE USHABTI WITH HIEROGLYPHIC INSCRIPTION Third Intermediate Period to Late Period, Ca. 1069 - 332 BC. A blue faience mummiform ushabti wearing a tripartite wig and false beard, with the arms crossed over the chest and the hands holding a crook and flail. Horizontal registers of hieroglyphs extend across the front of the lower body. Size: 85mm x 20mm; Weight: 21g Provenance: Private collection of a Cambridgeshire gentleman; formerly with Allison Barker, 1990sÐ2007.
