EGYPTIAN FAIENCE CROCODILE PENDANT AMULET Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A blue faience crocodile on a rectangular plinth with crosshatched sides, its long tail descending diagonally to the base. The body has short legs and a tapered snout, with a suspension loop on the back. Size: 36mm x 19mm; Weight: 4.7g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired in Germany; formerly with G. M., Sweden 1980s-1990s.
