EGYPTIAN BLUE FAIENCE SCARABOID WITH SYMBOLS IN SILVER RING Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1650 BC. A rectangular glazed steatite seal, one face decorated with an incised crosshatched pattern. The underside bears deeply engraved hieroglyphic devices; mounted as the swivel bezel of a possibly later silver ring with coiled-wire shoulders.
