PAIR OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE HARE AMULETS Third Intermediate Period to Late Period, Ca. 1069 - 332 BC. A pair of faience hare amulets, each depicting the animal recumbent on an integral flat base with the forelegs extended, the long ears laid back along the body, and a perforation through the neck for suspension. Size: 27-28mm x 17-17mm; Weight: 9g Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Switzerland; formerly with C.B. collection, 1970s-1990s.
