EGYPTIAN GLAZED STEATITE SCARAB WITH HIEROGLYPHICS IN SILVER RING New Kingdom to Late Period, Ca. 1550 - 332 BC. A faience scarab set in a silver ring, with a domed back featuring a single incised line between promotes and elytra and a single large black-painted lined sutured. The legs are incised and naturalistic. The base decoration is a decorative composition made up of two baskets joined by a double-spiral element.The whole is enclose by a single incised line.
