EGYPTIAN GLAZED STEATITE SCARAB WITH VEGETAL MOTIF IN SILVER RING Middle Kingdom to New Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1290 BC. A pale turquoise-glazed steatite scarab, finely modelled with incised anatomical details. The underside is engraved with a symmetrical arrangement of radiating and spiral motifs. It is mounted as the swivel bezel of a possibly later silver ring. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Object Number: 16.10.472.
