Description
PAIR OF EGYPTIAN STONE FROG AMULETS Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A pair of stone frog amulets, each carved crouching with the legs folded against the body and perforated through the base. The one on the left is in carnelian, with rounded eyes, a broad back, and incised details to the limbs. The second is in pale stone, with a raised head and an engraved underside with spiral motifs.
