GREEK GOLD AND LAPIS LAZULI INLAID PENDANT AND APPLIQUES Ca. 500 - 300 BC. A collection of gold ornaments, including: a pair of circular appliques, each with five radiating heart-shaped lapis lazuli petals around a central red garnet and two horizontal attachment tubes on the reverse; and a flower-shaped pendant with six lobed lapis lazuli petals around a central gold boss, with suspension loops above and below and a pair of transverse attachment tubes on the reverse. Size: 11-13mm x 10-11mm; Weight: 2.8g Provenance: From a private UK collection; London market acquisition; earlier part of a Swiss collection spanning the 1980sÐ2007.
