Description
SILVER DRACHM OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT IN GOLD-PLATED STERLING SILVER RING Ca. 325 - 319 BC. A silver drachm of Alexander the Great, the obverse with the head of Herakles to right wearing the lion skin headdress. The reverse depicts Zeus Aetophoros seated to the left, holding an eagle in his right hand and a sceptre in his left. The coin is set in a gold-plated sterling silver ring by Apollo Brand, with an open-backed circular bezel, broad shoulders and a textured outer surface.
