HELLENISTIC OR ROMAN GOLD LUNAR PENDANT WITH GEOMETRIC DECORATION Ca. 100 BC - AD 100. A gold crescent pendant bordered with twisted wire. Three circular motifs decorate the centre, with further roundels at the upper corners and a single roundel to the reverse. Two suspension loops are attached above and a smaller loop below. Size: 20mm x 15mm; Weight: 1.1g Provenance: From a private UK collection, M.A.; earlier purchased on the London art market before 2000.
